When using the left or right edge snapping, the second half of the screen will automatically display. You’ll see a transparent overlay indicate how the window will snap. Left-click the title bar on a window and drag it to the corners or left or right edges. Click the Multitasking page on the right side. This all works by simply dragging windows around the screen. I have had this issue related to the Snap windows feature for a while: Under Settings > System > Multitasking, I have enabled the Snap windows feature with all the options checked. To adjust the Snap assist settings on Windows 11, use these steps: Open Settings. If you press Windows Key + Down Arrow, you'll minimize it. When you snap one of those applications, like Microsoft Word, to the left side of your screen, Windows 10 will show you a layout of your remaining open apps on. You can also snap windows using keyboard shortcuts. Snap Assist allows you to resize the layout boxes size by selecting and dragging the dividing lines. Snap Assist will display all other open windows as thumbnails so you can choose which windows you would like to add to the selected layout. You can also drag it to a corner to snap it to the corresponding quadrant, or drag it to the top of your screen to get a full-size window. The Snap Assist tool will automatically appear once you have snapped your first window. Drag it to the left or right side of your screen to snap it to the left or right half of the screen. I have also tried doing a clean install of the driver, and have uninstalled.reinstalled the applications which display this issue (except Putty, which you do not need to install). An outline will appear to show you where the window will snap to once you drop it. Snap Assist has always displayed this behaviour for me, and I have updated my display driver many times.
